Everything is at knee height
The mental adjustment for cleaning a childcare or school space is simple and it changes the whole scope: work the low third of the room as if it were the high-touch zone, because it is.
Door handles at child height. Light switches nobody over four feet ever touches. Table undersides that get held while chairs are pushed in. Cubby fronts, coat hook rails, gate latches, the bottom two shelves of every storage unit, the edges of low windowsills. In an office none of these matter much. In a preschool they are the surfaces that carry the day.
Floors are the other half. Soft flooring and rugs in early-years rooms hold everything that gets dropped on them, and hard floors in shared areas take the traffic of a whole building moving at once, several times a day.
The consequence for scheduling is that these buildings need daily attention on the days they operate. A learning center running three afternoons a week can be cleaned three times a week. A daycare open five days cannot sensibly be cleaned twice.

Terms, breaks and the deep-clean rhythm
Education buildings have something almost nothing else we clean has: guaranteed empty periods, scheduled a year in advance. That is a real advantage and most operators underuse it.
The pattern that works is daily cleaning on operating days, kept tight and focused on touchpoints, restrooms and floors — then a heavier pass at each break when rooms can be emptied and furniture moved. Baseboards, vents, window tracks, under-furniture floor work and anything requiring a room to be out of use go into the break visits.
It also spreads cost sensibly. The daily scope stays lean because the detail work has a scheduled home, rather than being squeezed into evenings when children’s belongings are still on every surface.

- Do you clean while children are on site?
Normally no. Work happens after the day ends or before it starts, which is safer for everyone and lets the team move properly through rooms. Where a building needs daytime attention — a shared restroom in a busy center — it is scoped as a separate daytime visit.
- Are your staff background checked?
Every cleaner is vetted and background checked before their first visit to any site. If your licensing or your own policy requires additional checks, clearances or training before someone works in your building, tell us and we will arrange it.
- Can you do a deep clean over the summer?
Yes, and it is the right time for it. Break periods are when rooms can be emptied, furniture moved and the whole floor detailed. Book it well ahead — summer fills quickly.
- Do you supply the products you use?
Yes, unless your licensing or your own policy specifies particular products. If it does, we will use what you specify — just include it in the scope so everyone is working from the same document.
- We are a small tutoring center, not a school. Does this apply?
Yes. Tutoring, enrichment and music centers have the same shape of problem at a smaller scale: shared tables, shared touchpoints, restrooms and floors, on the days you actually operate.
