Standing schedules
Recurring house cleaning in Carrollton, TX
Most people who call us are not trying to buy one clean. They are trying to stop thinking about it. A standing schedule is how that happens, and it is also the cheapest way to buy cleaning.

How we work
Bonded and insured
Insurance covers accidental damage; the bond covers theft. A certificate is available on request.
Background-checked, vetted cleaners
Every cleaner is vetted and background checked before a first visit.
Professionally trained teams
Teams work to the Hygiene Maids method rather than a personal routine, so visits stay consistent.
Satisfaction guarantee
If an area is not right, tell us and we put it right.
24-hour re-clean policy
Report a missed area within 24 hours and we come back to redo it at no extra charge.
Recurring plans
Three rhythms, three discounts
The discount is not a sign-up offer. It comes off every visit for as long as the schedule runs, and it stops when the schedule does.
- 20%off
Weekly
Nothing has time to build up, so each visit is short and the house never really leaves ready.
Suits: Larger households, homes with pets and shedding, and anyone who wants Friday to look like Monday.
- 15%off
Biweekly
The usual rhythm. Two weeks is long enough to notice, short enough that a standard clean still handles it.
Suits: Most Carrollton families and working households — the frequency people settle on after trying others.
- 10%off
Monthly
A full reset each time. Expect a longer visit, and the occasional deep clean to catch up on detail.
Suits: Smaller households, homes that stay tidy day to day, and anyone maintaining a place between guests.
Discounts apply to every visit on a standing schedule and come off automatically while the schedule runs. Your actual price depends on the home and its condition — you see it before anything is confirmed.
Why frequency changes the price twice over
The discount is the obvious part. Weekly takes twenty per cent off every visit, biweekly fifteen, monthly ten. That is straightforward and it applies automatically at booking.
The less obvious part is that frequency also changes the underlying work. On a weekly rhythm nothing has time to build up, so each visit is genuinely shorter and easier than the same visit would be after a month. On a monthly rhythm the house drifts further between visits, so a monthly standard clean is a bigger job than a weekly one before any discount is applied.
Put together, that means the gap between weekly and monthly is wider than the difference between twenty per cent and ten per cent suggests. People who move from monthly to biweekly are often surprised how little the change costs them per month.
Picking a frequency honestly
Match the household, not the aspiration. The right frequency is the one that still feels worth it in month four.
| If your household is… | Start with | What to expect |
|---|---|---|
| Four or more people, or a shedding pet, or both | Weekly | Short visits, a house that never really leaves ready, and the largest recurring discount. |
| Two working adults, or a family with school-age children | Biweekly | The default for a reason. Two weeks is noticeable but still inside what a standard clean handles. |
| One or two people, tidy day to day, home less often | Monthly | A full reset each time. Longer visits, and worth pairing with a deep clean occasionally. |
| A home office where you are in the house all day | Weekly or biweekly | Constant occupancy shows faster than people expect. Monthly usually feels too long. |
| A second home or a property you visit occasionally | Monthly, or one-time visits | A standing schedule can be more than it needs. One-time visits before you arrive may fit better. |
You can change frequency later without penalty. Plenty of people start biweekly, try weekly through a busy season and settle back. The discount simply changes to match.
The first visit is not like the ones after it
The first clean on any new schedule takes longer. The team is clearing whatever has accumulated before the schedule existed, and learning the house at the same time — where things live, which surfaces need which product, which door stays shut.
From the second visit onwards it settles. The same team returns wherever scheduling allows, the notes on your account carry your preferences forward, and the visits get shorter and more predictable because there is less to undo each time.
If the house is starting from a long way back, a deep clean as the first visit is usually the better and cheaper route. It clears the whole backlog in one go rather than spreading it thinly across three standard visits that each run long.

Living with a schedule
A standing schedule should be easy to bend, or people stop using it.
Schedules are managed through your Hygiene Maids account, which is the same account you would use on any other Hygiene Maids site. Everything below happens there.
- Skip a visit when you are away, without ending the schedule or losing the discount.
- Move a visit to a different day when a week does not work.
- Change frequency up or down; the discount adjusts to the new rhythm.
- Change the scope — add a room, drop a room, ask for linens changed.
- Pause for a season and restart, rather than canceling and rebooking.
- Cancel entirely, with no minimum term and no exit fee.
Give as much notice as you reasonably can for changes. Cleaning routes are planned in advance, and a gap someone else could have used is the one thing a last-minute change costs.
Questions about recurring cleaning
- Is there a contract or a minimum number of visits?
No. The recurring discount applies while a standing schedule is running and stops if you end it. There is no minimum term, no cancellation fee, and no clawback of discounts you have already had.
- Does the discount apply to the first visit?
The recurring discount applies to visits on the standing schedule. If the first visit is a deep clean booked to reset the house before the schedule starts, that is a separate service and is priced as one.
The booking flow shows exactly what you are paying for each visit before anything is confirmed, so you will not have to work this out afterwards.
- What if I need to skip a week?
Skip it through your account. The schedule stays live, the discount is unaffected, and the next visit lands where it was always going to.
Skipping a lot of visits in a row is worth a conversation, because at some point a monthly schedule is a better fit than a biweekly one with gaps in it.
- Do I get the same cleaners every time?
Wherever scheduling allows, yes — and that is the goal, because a familiar house is cleaned better and faster. Illness, holidays and route changes occasionally make it impossible, and when they do your account notes go with the job so the substitute team knows what you expect.
- Can I switch between weekly and biweekly?
Yes, at any point. The discount changes to match the new frequency from the next visit. Some households run weekly through a busy stretch and biweekly the rest of the year.
- What if my house is in better shape than usual on a given visit?
Tell us and we spend the time on something else — a deeper pass on the kitchen, interior windows, a room normally skipped. A visit is a block of work; if the usual list is lighter than expected, it makes sense to point it somewhere useful.
