Before and after

Seven matched pairs showing what a cleaning visit actually changes. Drag the handle, or use the Before, Split and After buttons under each one — nothing here needs a mouse to make sense.

About these photographs

These are cleaning demonstration sets made for Hygiene Maids of Carrollton. They are not documented customer jobs, so you will not find a named customer, an address or a date attached to any of them — we are not going to invent one. What they do show honestly is the difference the work makes in the rooms people care about most.

What you are looking at

The parts that make the difference

In almost every pair on this page, the change that reads most strongly is not the surface somebody wiped. It is the floor worked to the edges, the corner where things had collected, and the shelf or counter that was cleared before it was cleaned.

That is worth knowing when you book, because it is also where the time goes. A surface that has to be cleared before it can be cleaned takes two passes, which is why clearing counters and floors before a visit gets you noticeably more from the same hours.

The bathroom and office pairs show the other half: detail work. Grout, glass, fixtures, the base of a toilet, the carpet under a workstation run. None of it is visible from the doorway and all of it is what separates a room that looks tidied from one that has been cleaned.
