Why the gap is narrower than it looks
People compare 20% against 15% and conclude weekly costs roughly twice as much per month. It is closer than that.
A weekly visit is a genuinely smaller job than a biweekly one. Seven days of floors rather than fourteen. Seven days of bathroom use. Seven days of surfaces. Nothing has time to get ahead, so the same list takes less work to complete.
A biweekly visit carries two weeks of everything, plus the extra clearing that comes with a longer gap. It is a bigger job before any discount is applied.
Add the larger discount on top and the per-month difference between the two shrinks considerably. It does not disappear — weekly is more per month — but the gap is smaller than the visit count suggests, and households moving up are regularly surprised by that.

The test that settles it
Run whichever you think you need for two months, then ask one question on the day before a visit: does the house feel like it has been waiting?
If yes, biweekly is too long for your household and weekly will feel like a relief rather than a luxury. If the house still feels fine the day before, biweekly is right and you would be paying for weekly out of aspiration rather than need.
There is no minimum term either way, and changing frequency takes one action in your account. So the cost of getting it wrong first time is essentially nothing, which is worth knowing before you agonise over the decision.
The factors that push towards weekly
Any two of these usually means biweekly will not hold: a shedding pet, four or more people in the house, someone home all day, four or more bathrooms, mostly hard floors with a lot of traffic, or young children. Any one of them on its own is usually fine on biweekly.

The standard schedules are weekly, biweekly and monthly, which is what the discounts are attached to. If a three-week rhythm genuinely fits your household better, ask — but most people find monthly works or biweekly does.
- Does biweekly mean twice a week or every two weeks?
Every two weeks. It is a genuinely ambiguous word and worth confirming with any company you talk to.
