What "standard" is actually promising
It is a maintenance list. It assumes the house is at a baseline and keeps it there. It does not assume the house needs rescuing.
That distinction is the whole page. A standard clean covers every room, touches every surface on the list, and leaves the house genuinely clean — but it is scoped and timed for upkeep. It is not a slower version of a bigger job.
If a house has been maintained, standard is the correct and cheapest right answer, and it stays the right answer indefinitely. Most of our recurring customers have never booked anything else after their first visit.
If a house has not been maintained, standard will make it look much better and still leave the things that only come off with dedicated time: the film along door frame edges, the line where baseboard meets carpet, the mineral crust at the base of a faucet, the dust on top of ceiling fan blades. Those are on the deep clean list, and they are on it because they take real time.

How to tell which one your house needs
Walk into your own kitchen and check these five things honestly. Three or more on the right-hand side means the deep list.

If it is borderline, book the deep clean once and then switch to standard on a schedule. That is the sequence most first-time customers end up using, and it is cheaper than paying for two standard visits that never quite catch up.
Standard cleaning plus a schedule is the whole system
Standard is designed to sit on a repeating schedule. That is where it does its best work and where it is cheapest, because the recurring discount comes off every visit.
The mechanism is simple. On a weekly or biweekly rhythm, nothing gets far enough ahead to need the deep list again. The house never leaves the baseline, so the maintenance scope keeps being sufficient, and each visit stays short. On a monthly rhythm the house drifts a little further between visits, so a monthly standard clean tends to run longer and some customers add a deep clean once or twice a year to reset.
That is the honest version of "how often should we come": it depends how far you are willing to let the house drift, and how much of that drift you want to pay to undo.

What each rhythm takes off a standard visit
The discounts below apply to standard cleaning on a standing schedule.

Weekly
Nothing has time to build up, so each visit is short and the house never really leaves ready.
Suits: Larger households, homes with pets and shedding, and anyone who wants Friday to look like Monday.

Biweekly
The usual rhythm. Two weeks is long enough to notice, short enough that a standard clean still handles it.

A recurring discount is a percentage off the visit price for your specific home. The booking system produces that number from the details of the property — this page cannot, and neither can anyone quoting you over the phone without asking.
Questions about the standard scope
- Is standard cleaning the same as a "regular clean" or "maintenance clean"?
Yes. Different companies use different words for the same tier. On this site it is called standard cleaning, and the list above is exactly what it covers.
- Will you do dishes or laundry?
Loading a few dishes into the dishwasher so the sink can be cleaned is normal. A full sink of washing up, or running laundry through a cycle, is not part of the scope — it consumes the time the rest of the house needs.
Fresh linens left out on a bed will be fitted. That is included.
- Do you move furniture?
We clean under and behind anything that moves easily — a dining chair, a light side table, sofa cushions that lift. Heavy furniture and appliances stay where they are, on a standard clean and a deep clean alike.
- What if my house needs a deep clean but I book standard?
We tell you before the visit rather than after, using what you describe at booking. If it only becomes obvious once the team is there, they clean to the standard list, do it properly, and flag what was left. Nobody gets billed for something they did not agree to.
- Can I add deep-clean items to a standard visit?
Some of them, if the visit is scheduled with the extra time. Inside the oven and inside the refrigerator are the two most requested and both need advance notice. Asking on the day usually is not possible, because the day is already booked out.
